Mise En Place [~2-3 Minutes]

Every day you should:

  1. Login to DCPS OneView.
  2. Read your DCPS e-mail.
  3. Follow any additional instructions from the teacher.

Instruction [~5-10 Minutes]

Students will work in pairs with Mr. Kelley to review their revised resume drafts.

Please read Job Strategies for Teens and Teen Job Interview Questions. Students will participate in mock interviews over the next week or two.

All students will be asked the following questions:

  1. What you have learned in school that has prepared you to be successful at this job?
  2. What is something you want to understand or do better to be successful?
  3. What characteristics or skills do you have that will make you a strong team member?
In addition, students will be asked two additional questions for which they cannot prepare ahead of time.

Work [~12-25 Minutes]
